I usually just add a dash (2 hyphens, then a letter, than a space, and Word will create a dash) between lines where I want there to be a time gap.

I’m trying to upload the rossitheowl fic to fanfiction.net and the formatting is kicking my ass. do more knowledgeable people know how to acquire gaps between scenes without it just being a block of text?
